FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Youtube & Facebook uses recognition software that scans the music in your video to see if you used copyrighted material. We do not register our tracks in this system so if you have a claim it is whether a “false positive” (the software is wrong) or that someone try to steal our music.
Please do the following:
- Contest the Claim! Do not remove your video. If you receive a warning from Facebook/Instagram telling that your video is muted because you may be using copyrighted content, please click on “Restore Audio”.
- When Youtube ask you for a reason check: “I have a license or written permission from the proper rights holder to use this material”
- In the comments put a link where you have downloaded the track. If you have bought a license attach your license certificate.
- Contact us with all the details about the claim: track title, composer, name, company, label that have registered the track. This way we can do something from our my side.
Yes you can use our music in your Facebook videos, however you cannot registered videos to the Facebook Rights Manager Service. Because of a flaw of Facebook’s copyright protection software that would keep other users to use our music.
NO! Our music is meant to be used for multimedia projects such as videos and web applications. For both the free license and the pro licenses, it is forbidden to make a song, a remix and/or to use our music for music production. You can however adapt the music for your film or video by cutting, fading, editing the length or adding voice over.
If you are interested in having a custom song put together, check out my link on fiverr:
